Sotheby's International Realty Releases Collections Volume 1 2016 and features Realogics SIR Prominently

The first volume of Collections  Volume in 2016 takes a look at groundbreaking 2015 initiatives and looks to the future with spotlight sections and marketing influences. RSIR was featured prominently, with quotes from both Dean Jones, Owner & CEO in addition to Andrea Savage, Vice President of Marketing.

A special spotlight on New Homes and Developments, describes The Homes at Fort Lawton project, represented by RSIR. Andrea Savage, who was instrumental in establishing the platform, described that “taking on a large new development project that includes multiple homes is a difficult task and takes a lot of strategy to find a large pool of buyers,” continuing that “the new search allows us to direct our potential buyers directly to our portfolio of new construction. Sotheby's International Realty® Releases 2015 Website Statistics: Reports 30% Increase in Website Traffic Year-Over-Year

Executives of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC released website data for 2015 that indicates record breaking traffic with a 30% increase in website visitors year-over-year. With a great focus on creating the best possible user experience, continues the brand’s tradition of revolutionizing Luxury Real Estate in the digital space. As Jon Meschke, Vice President of Affiliate Services – Pacific Region U.S./Western Canada describes, “it was the highest traffic year in the history of with over 14M visits to the site and just under 30M property detail page views. Both are new records for our website as traffic continues to increase quarter over quarter.”

The General Website Traffic for 2015 Is As Follows:

  • 1,170,532 average monthly visits
  • 900,690 average monthly unique visitors
  • 6,228,161 average monthly page views
  • 48% of visitors from outside the U.S.

The report outlines that December 2015 saw the most traffic, with 1.6 million visits, which represents a 91% increase compared to December 2014. As the report describes, “these results demonstrate the impact quality listing content–including HD property videos, quality controlled HD property photos, photo captions, location descriptions and property descriptions–can make in driving traffic to and exposure for your clients’ properties.”  

Meschke also pointed out that in analysis of the “top referring sites,, the auction house web site, is the number three referring web site over to” – an exclusive Sotheby’s advantage built upon the brand’s trusted 271-year heritage.

Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC, whose parent company is Realogy Holdings Corp. (NYSE: RLGY), rang the Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange yesterday to celebrate its 40th anniversary milestone in the luxury residential real estate brokerage business. Philip White, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC, was joined on the podium by members of theSotheby’s International Realty network for the bell ringing ceremony.

Sotheby's International Realty Expands Luxury Brand Presence in Finland

Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC today announced it has expanded its global real estate network into Finland with the launch of Snellman Sotheby’s International Realty located in Helsinki.

The owners, consisting of Swedish and Finnish prominent business investors headed by Robert Charpentier, signed an exclusive 25-year franchise agreement to develop the Sotheby’s International Realty® brand throughout Finland. The company will operate under the leadership of Kenneth Katter, who brings over 20 years of relevant high-profile international sales experience to his role of chief executive officer.

“Expansion into Finland continues the brand’s commitment to providing access to theSotheby’s International Realty network’s exclusive real estate services in luxury real estate destinations around the world,” said Philip White, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC.  “Finland is a country widely admired as a European hub of innovation and entrepreneurship where the luxury market continues to grow. According to Charpentier, the plan is to establish the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in the capital city of Helsinki with the opening of the first Snellman Sotheby’s International Realty office. With the addition of this office, opening this year, the Sotheby’s International Realty brand will have over 180 independently owned and operated offices in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Other cities in Finland will be evaluated on an ongoing basis and Charpentier anticipates a presence in the Finnish Lapland in the future to facilitate the international interest of high-end ski chalets.
